About Jenkins Restoration

On attaining a Higher City in Guilds and Diploma in Cabinet Making I became passionately interested in furniture and wood.  This led me to Manchester University where I gained a 2:1 Degree with honours in "The Restoration and Conservation of Furniture".

For thirteen years I worked for a large Clock Shop in the Cotswolds, gaining vast knowledge in the restoration of clocks, barometers and furniture. During this time I attended a "Painted Dial Restoration" course at the British Horological Institute (BHI) where I gained certification for restoring these dials and have been doing so for over 10 years now.

In 2011 I set up my own Restoration Company working for both trade and private clients providing restoration of clocks, barometers, furniture and dials.
